Making his home in the beautiful mountains of Northwest Colorado, John lives close to the animals and majestic scenery that inspire his work in watercolor art.

He is well known for his accurate depiction and intricate detail of wildlife. John is an avid sportsman, and spends much of his time out and about in the wilderness areas striving to catch a moment in time. These real life experiences along with research and a natural love for the wild amimals of North America, give a unique natural quality to his art work.
